For You Suyash Foundation Aashray Rehabilitation Trust

You can only hope to build a better world by improving the individuals. To that end, each one of us must work for our own improvement and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be the most useful. This is the simplest philosophy we follow.

Our beneficiary communities are deserted; hence, they remain educationally, socially, and economically backward. They are mainly migrants living highly unstable lives. Their children are deprived of school education and basic health facilities. In some cases, helpless parents resort to begging to feed their malnourished babies — sometimes intentionally keeping them malnourished.

A group of friends having rich experience of developmental sector, led by Ambadas Chavan, came together with determination to work with the most neglected communities ever. Although there are numerous Government Schemes and hundreds of NGOs working with the tribal and Nomadic Tribe communities, there is still a huge scope of work. Hence, Caring Hands, the Ahmednagar-based voluntary organisation, came forward and gradually became a change maker for the Fase Paradhi, Bhilla, Dombari, Kaikadi, Ghisadi, Dhanagar, Vaidu, Katkari, Thakar and other communities in Ahmednagar and Pune districts of Maharashtra State.

Caring Hands is working to help them become civilized and bring a change in mentality. For this, they must first receive basic education and healthcare. We have also expanded our work beyond these communities to include all kinds of migrants (migrant laborers), irrespective of caste, religion, or native place.
