You can only hope to build a better world by improving the individuals. To that end, each one of us must work for our own improvement and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be the most useful. This is the simplest philosophy we follow.
A group of friends having rich experience of developmental sector, led by Ambadas Chavan, came together with determination to work with the most neglected communities ever. Although there are numerous Government Schemes and hundreds of NGOs working with the tribal and Nomadic Tribe communities, there is still a huge scope of work. Hence, Caring Hands, the Ahmednagar based voluntary organisation came forward and gradually becoming the change maker for the Fase Paradhi, Bhilla, Dombari, Kaikadi, Ghisadi, Dhanagar, Vaidu, Katkari, Thakar etc. communities in Ahmednagar and Pune districts of Maharashtra State.
Our beneficiary communities are deserted hence, remained educationally, socially and economically backward. They are mainly migrants and living absolutely unstable life. Their children are always deprived of the school education and health facilities. We find people from few of helpless and there are no ways other than begging to feed their malnourished babies. Even they do not feed their babies to make/keep them malnourished. We dealt some cases of kidnaping children by them. They intentionally injure the children and forced them to beg on the streets. There are many such grave problems this community is facing and also creating severe problems for rest of the society.our targeted communities involved in such cases of looting even today. The women go for begging along with their kids and solicit for the money or something to eat. They present themselves
Caring Hands is working to help them to be civilized and changing the mentality. For this purpose, they have to be provided with at least basic education and health facilities. Unless they are made aware of their social & economical standing, they will not get inspirited to take efforts to bring change among themselves.
Even we have broadened our scope of work beyond these communities to all kind of migrants (migrant laborers) irrespective of cast, religion, native place etc. The children are always a wealth of nation and they must be groomed properly. Its their right to get good quality education and health facilities.
