The AASHRAY Rehabilitation Trust is established under the SUYASH FOUNDATION REG.No. E8067, Pune.
AASHRAY works closely with children suffering from Autism, Mental Retardation, C.P Down's Syndrome, Physically Handicapped etc. The Trust provides full-time services to children between 1 to 3 years of age, early intervention and 4 to 14 years of age and 14 to 17 years of age. It also provides education and vocational training for those above 18 years of age.
The academic year starts in June; however, children are admitted throughout the year. AASHRAY REHABILITATION TRUST has about 30 children and it works from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
The day starts with a prayer followed by a glass of milk before any activity begins This is followed by a one-to-one session along with a therapy session and other activities. Lunch is served between 12.00 to 12.30 pm, followed by rest time till 1.00 pm. Between 1.00 pm and 2.50 pm. the children are kept busy with various activities like arts & crafts, music, indoor games, drawing, yoga, etc. The school day ends with "PASAYDAN" at 4.00 pm.
